SsangYong establishes 1st international sales unit

South Korea-based SsangYong Motor Co. launched its first international subsidiary focused on vehicle sales, Yonhap News Agency reported Dec. 5, citing a company statement.

The automaker set up the new business in Australia with plans to develop a local network to help increase sales in that country, the report said.

SsangYong operates as a subsidiary of Indian automaker Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.
