Japanese consumer and chemical products seller Kao Corp. on June 12 priced unsecured straight bonds for a total issuance of ¥25 billion for a term of five years, according to a company release.
The offering price of the single bond is ¥100 with an annual interest rate of 0.08%.
The proceeds from the offering will be used for repayment of debt and for capital investment.
As of June 11, US$1 was equivalent to ¥100.90.
