Enel Green Power closes $120M sale of 50-MW wind farm in Uruguay

Enel Green Power SpA completed the sale of Enel Green Power Uruguay SA to Atlantica Yield PLC for $120 million as part of its noncore asset disposal program.

Enel Green Power Uruguay owns the 50-MW Melowind wind facility in Uruguay through its project company Estrellada SA, according to a Dec. 14 release. The wind farm sells its output to state-owned Administración Nacional de Usinas y Trasmisiones Eléctricas under a 20-year power purchase agreement.
