Natixis Investment Managers creates global PE firm by merging 3 units

Natixis Investment Managers merged its Geneva-based Euro Pvt. Equity SA, Singapore-based Eagle Asia Partners and New York-based Caspian Pvt. Equity LLC private equity subsidiaries to create a new global private equity firm with $6.7 billion in assets under management.

Eric Deram, the founder and managing partner of Euro Pvt. Equity, was named CEO of the new entity, Flexstone Partners.

Flexstone will have 40 employees in Paris, New York, Geneva and Singapore, and will specialize in primary, secondary and co-investments in the private equity, private debt, real estate and infrastructure markets across the U.S., Europe and Asia.

Natixis Investment Managers is a fully owned unit of Natixis, which is majority owned by Groupe BPCE.
