British gaming company International Game Technology PLC said Feb. 26 that subsidiary IGT Global Solutions Corp. won a contract to provide South Carolina Education Lottery with new lottery systems and other services for 10 years from May 13.
IGT, which is close to completing the construction of its primary data center in South Carolina, will provide SCEL with a new draw-based central system, new lottery terminals, a backup and multifaceted communications network and other services and tools. Among them are ICT's Aurora platform, which supports multiple types of retailer solution devices, and IGT's Altura Flex draw-based lottery terminal that has a new payslip reader.
In addition, the London-based company will also help SCEL with its advertising through its Aurora MultiMedia digital advertising display solution, which will be installed at points of sale, and Ticket-Scan Plus, which allows players to check the tickets.
