Silver Viper Minerals discovers new gold zone at La Virginia project in Mexico

Silver Viper Minerals Corp. discovered a new mineralized zone at the La Virginia gold project in Mexico, which the company believes validates the ongoing reconnaissance work being done to identify new targets on the project.

Drilling from 11 drill holes totaling 2,868 meters testing four prospect areas encountered mineralization, with a best intercept of 13.3 meters core length averaging 3.16 g/t gold and 228 g/t silver for a gold equivalent value of 6.42 g/t.

According to a Jan. 17 release, the company expects drilling to resume in the first quarter, while awaiting results from the 2018 program. Silver Viper has also resumed surface exploration activity on the property.
