Nintendo bringing 'Super Mario Run' to Android in March

Nintendo's smartphone game "Super Mario Run" will become available for Android devices in March, the company announced in a Jan. 18 tweet.

Like the version that debuted in December 2016 on Apple Inc.'s iOS, the game for Google Inc.'s Android will be free to play for the first three levels, with full gameplay unlocked for $10, Digital Trends reported Jan. 19.

The Japanese gaming giant did not specify an exact release date for the Android version, but offered a pre-registration page on the Google Play Store that will notify Android users when the game is launched.
