CI Capital Partners sells Tech Air to Air Liquide unit Airgas

New York-based private equity group CI Capital Partners LLC wrapped up the disposal of its Tech Air of Connecticut Inc. portfolio company to Airgas Inc., a unit of France's Air Liquide SA.

CI Capital and Tech Air CEO Myles Dempsey co-owned the target company, which distributes industrial, medical and specialty packaged gases, welding equipment, and supplies to more than 45,000 customers.

Harris Williams and Berenson & Co. LLC advised Tech Air on the deal, while Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison LLP served as the company's legal advisers.
