Killam Apartment REIT registers C$800M shelf

Killam Apartment REIT filed a short-form base shelf prospectus for the sale of up to C$800 million in aggregate of its trust units, subscription receipts and debt securities from time to time over a 25-month period.

Killam is expected to use the net proceeds from the sale of the securities for general trust purposes, including funding ongoing operations and/or working capital requirements, to repay debt outstanding from time to time and to fund capital projects and future acquisitions.
