Farglory Hotel Co. Ltd. said its first-quarter normalized net income amounted to 9 Taiwan cents per share, an increase from 4 cents per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$9.9 million, a gain from NT$3.9 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 8.1% from 3.4% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose 7.9% year over year to NT$122.8 million from NT$113.8 million, and total operating expenses came to NT$107.0 million, compared with NT$107.1 million in the year-earlier period.
Reported net income grew from the prior-year period to NT$13.7 million, or 13 cents per share, from NT$5.3 million, or 5 cents per share.
As of May 14, US$1 was equivalent to NT$30.54.
