FuelCell Energy posts improved results YOY in fiscal Q3'19

FuelCell Energy Inc. on Sept. 9 reported fiscal third-quarter 2019 adjusted EBITDA of $3.2 million, compared to an adjusted EBITDA loss of $11.3 million in the third quarter of fiscal 2018.

Net loss attributable to common stockholders during the quarter ended July 31 was $8.3 million, or a loss of 18 cents per share, compared to a loss of $17.6 million, or a loss of $2.45 per share, in the same quarter of fiscal 2018.

Revenues for the quarter totaled $22.7 million, compared to $12.1 million in the third quarter of fiscal 2018. The company posted a loss from operations of $1.1 million, compared to a loss of $14.5 million a year earlier.

"The Company focused on numerous restructuring and improvement initiatives, resulting in an improved balance sheet, a leaner spending profile, and a reinvigorated team," FuelCell Energy President and CEO Jason Few said.
