Ctrip partners with Deutsche Bahn for German railway tickets

Chinese travel service provider Ctrip.com International Ltd. said March 8 that it entered into an agreement with Deutsche Bahn, which provides national and cross-border long-distance rail services in Germany, to facilitate sales of German rail tickets on its platforms.

The partnership will let Ctrip users book German rail tickets from any of its 13-language websites. The service will start on Ctrip's TrainPal platform and will eventually be available on all of the company's apps and websites, including its new travel online booking platform Trip.com, which it plans to launch in April.
