Kyoritsu Maintenance Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, came to ¥32.00 per share, an increase of 19.7% from ¥26.73 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥1.25 billion, an increase of 43.6% from ¥870.0 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 4.6% from 3.5% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 7.8% year over year to ¥27.02 billion from ¥25.07 billion, and total operating expenses climbed 5.8% from the prior-year period to ¥25.03 billion from ¥23.66 billion.
Reported net income grew 66.2% from the prior-year period to ¥1.27 billion, or ¥32.61 per share, from ¥765.8 million, or ¥23.52 per share.
As of Feb. 12, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.90.
