Sungrow Power wins contract to supply energy storage system to Mass. project

Renewable inverter supplier Sungrow Power Supply Co. Ltd. agreed to supply a fully integrated energy storage system for a 15-MW/32-MWh storage project in Massachusetts.

The project will participate in the ISO New England wholesale market after completion, according to an Oct. 8 news release. The combined solar and storage portfolio is operated by energy company Stem Inc. and owned by private equity firm Syncarpha Capital LLC.

The project is planned for commissioning in the second quarter of 2020.
