ParkerVision Q1 loss narrows YOY

ParkerVision Inc. said its normalized net income for the first quarter came to a loss of 28 cents per share, compared with a loss of 37 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of $3.2 million, compared with a loss of $3.6 million in the prior-year period.

Total revenue totaled $59,420, and total operating expenses decreased 10.8% from the prior-year period to $5.2 million from $5.8 million.

Reported net income came to a loss of $5.1 million, or a loss of 45 cents per share, compared to a loss of $5.8 million, or a loss of 59 cents per share, in the year-earlier period.
