Production of oil, NGLs and condensate in Norwegian waters averaged 1.73 million barrels per day in April, down from 1.75 million bbl/d in March, according to preliminary figures released by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate.
Oil production for the month averaged 1.38 million bbl/d, slipping from 1.40 million bbl/d in March, the directorate said in a May 22 release. The figure is 0.6% lower than the directorate's forecast and was primarily due to technical problems at undisclosed fields.
An average of 320,000 bbl/d of NGLs was produced in April, down from the 341,000 bbl/d reported for the previous month. Condensate production came in at 29,000 bbl/d, up from 28,000 bbl/d in March.
