Amazon.com Inc. signed a lease for about 500,000 square feet in Prologis Inc.'s three-story Prologis Georgetown Crossroads industrial warehouse in Seattle, The Wall Street Journal reported Sept. 10, citing an anonymous source.
Home improvement retailer Home Depot Inc. also plans to occupy almost 100,000 square feet in the Seattle building, according to the report. A Home Depot spokeswoman told the news outlet that the lease is part of the company's investment strategy to reduce delivery times.
