Goldman Sachs partner to join TPG Special Situations

Michelle Gill, a partner at Goldman Sachs Group Inc., is leaving the investment bank to join TPG Special Situations Partners, The Wall Street Journal reported.

Gill oversaw Goldman's business of packaging mortgages and other consumer loans for sale to investors and helped develop the company's consumer-finance business, according to the report.

TPG Special Situations Partners is a credit and special situations platform related to TPG Capital Management LP.
