Cafe de Coral Holdings Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Sept. 30 came to 32 Hong Kong cents per share, a gain from 31 cents per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was HK$185.1 million, an increase from HK$180.9 million in the prior-year period.
Total revenue rose 8.5% on an annual basis to HK$3.70 billion from HK$3.41 billion, and total operating expenses climbed 9.0% from the prior-year period to HK$3.42 billion from HK$3.14 billion.
Reported net income totaled HK$243.1 million, or 42 cents per share, compared to HK$242.9 million, or 42 cents per share, in the year-earlier period.
