JPMorgan names Asia-Pacific corporate banking head

JPMorgan Chase & Co. appointed Oliver Brinkmann head of its corporate banking operations in Asia-Pacific, Bloomberg News reported Jan. 8, citing an internal company memo.

Brinkmann joined the company in January, the memo said. Li Anne Wong, a spokeswoman at JPMorgan, confirmed the contents of the memo.

Brinkmann was formerly CEO of Lloyds Banking Group PLC's Asian commercial banking division. He replaces Muhammad Aurangzeb, who became CEO of Habib Bank Ltd. in 2018.
