Uniwax SA said its second-half normalized net income came to 2.26 billion francs, a gain of 62.0% from 1.39 billion francs in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.
Total revenue climbed year over year to 20.43 billion francs from 20.03 billion francs, and total operating expenses declined 8.0% year over year to 15.98 billion francs from 17.36 billion francs.
Reported net income came to 1.93 billion francs, compared with 1.34 billion francs in the year-earlier period.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled 3.77 billion francs, a rise of 85.2% from 2.04 billion francs in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue rose 8.5% year over year to 40.08 billion francs from 36.95 billion francs, and total operating expenses totaled 32.81 billion francs, compared with 33.00 billion francs in the prior-year period.
The company said reported net income totaled 4.36 billion francs in the full year, compared with 2.37 billion francs in the prior year.
As of March 24, US$1 was equivalent to 588.40 West African CFA francs.
