Indiana Michigan Power registers $1.18B of unsecured notes

Indiana Michigan Power Co. on May 22 filed a registration statement for the potential sale of $1.18 billion of unsecured notes.

The American Electric Power Co. Inc. utility will use net proceeds from the sale of the notes for general corporate purposes including redeeming and repurchasing outstanding debt as well as funding its construction program. The utility estimated 2018 construction costs at $567 million.
