Barclays appoints global head of exotics trading

Barclays PLC appointed Neil Staff global head of exotics trading and head of derivatives trading for Europe and the Middle East.

Staff will join in May and will be based in London. He will report to Stephen Dainton, who is the global head of equities for Barclays.

He will be responsible for the structured notes, corporate derivatives and quantitative investment strategies businesses as head of exotics, and for the overall derivatives trading business in the U.K. and Europe. Staff was previously employed at Credit Suisse Group AG as its head of equity exotics trading for London and the U.S.
