RWE receives green light for 47.6-MW Scottish wind farm

The Scottish government granted RWE AG planning consent for its 47.6-MW Clachaig Glen wind farm on the Mull of Kintyre in Argyll and Bute.

The government gave the authorization for up to 14 wind turbines with a maximum height of 126.5 meters, according to a Jan. 7 press release.

The project is expected to become operational by July 2024.
