NXP completes acquisition of Marvell's wireless connectivity business

NXP Semiconductors NV said Dec. 6 that it completed the previously announced acquisition of Marvell Technology Group Ltd.'s wireless connectivity assets.

In May, the Dutch chipmaker announced the deal, including Marvell's WiFi and Bluetooth products, valued at $1.76 billion in cash.

Earlier in the month, the companies said they expected the deal to complete in the first half of December.
