SNT Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 amounted to ¥8.90 per share, a decline of 13.9% from ¥10.34 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥232.6 million, a decrease of 13.9% from ¥270.1 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin fell to 4.2% from 5.5% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew 12.5% on an annual basis to ¥5.55 billion from ¥4.93 billion, and total operating expenses rose 16.0% from the prior-year period to ¥5.24 billion from ¥4.51 billion.
Reported net income declined 15.3% year over year to ¥310.0 million, or ¥11.87 per share, from ¥366.0 million, or ¥14.01 per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥42.60 per share, a gain from ¥41.04 per share in the prior year.
Normalized net income was ¥1.11 billion, an increase from ¥1.07 billion in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue grew 6.4% year over year to ¥20.11 billion from ¥18.91 billion, and total operating expenses rose 7.9% year over year to ¥18.76 billion from ¥17.39 billion.
The company said reported net income grew 5.3% on an annual basis to ¥1.39 billion, or ¥53.06 per share, in the full year, from ¥1.32 billion, or ¥50.38 per share.
