Omikenshi Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, came to a loss of 47 Japanese sen per share, compared with a loss of 26 sen per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of ¥31.0 million, compared with a loss of ¥16.9 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to negative 0.8% from negative 0.4% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed year over year to ¥3.88 billion from ¥3.81 billion, and total operating expenses rose on an annual basis to ¥3.83 billion from ¥3.76 billion.
Reported net income totaled a loss of ¥141.0 million, or a loss of ¥2.14 per share, compared to a loss of ¥6.0 million, or a loss of ¥1.38 per share, in the prior-year period.
As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.68.
