Report: Céline to enter e-commerce with revamped French site

LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE-owned fashion house Céline is releasing a new version of its French website that will for the first time make its products available for purchase online, Women's Wear Daily reported Dec. 5, citing a spokesperson for the brand.

The e-commerce launch will reportedly be marked by a digital advertising campaign in France beginning mid-December, and will extend to Europe and U.S. in 2018 and Japan in 2019. Céline plans to roll out a full set of related services such as in-store pickups and returns of online orders and online appointment requests, according to WWD.
