GE Dimitriou Commercial H1 loss narrows YOY

G.E. Dimitriou Commercial Co. SA said its normalized net income for the first half was a loss of 3 euro cents per share, compared with a loss of 4 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of €2.0 million, compared with a loss of €3.0 million in the prior-year period.

Total revenue rose 43.6% on an annual basis to €14.5 million from €10.1 million, and total operating expenses climbed 24.1% year over year to €16.8 million from €13.6 million.

Reported net income totaled a loss of €3.3 million, or a loss of 4 cents per share, compared to a loss of €4.9 million, or a loss of 6 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
