Woori Financial Group adds 2 direct subsidiaries

South Korea-based Woori Financial Group Inc. said it added Woori Card Co. Ltd. and Woori Investment Bank Co. Ltd. as its direct subsidiaries on Sept. 10 following the completion of separate share-swap transactions, according to 6-K filings.

Under the share-swap transactions, Woori Financial Group acquired unit Woori Bank's stakes in the two companies. As of Dec. 31, 2018, Woori Card held 9.983 trillion won of assets, while Woori Investment Bank held assets of 2.643 trillion won of assets.

As of Sept. 10, US$1 was equivalent to 1,192.51 South Korean won.
