Ralph Sommers Jr. stepped down as chairman of Carmichaels, Pa.-based CB Financial Services Inc. and unit Community Bank on May 15, in accordance with the company's succession plan.

Vice Chairman Mark Fox assumed Sommers' role in both organizations, while audit committee Chairman Charles Guthrie became vice chairman of both companies.

Sommers will continue as a director of both companies.
