Banco Votorantim SA raised $850 million through a dual-tranche bond issuance on Sept. 17, Valor Econômico reported, citing two sources with knowledge of the matter.
The first tranche was $400 million of three-year securities yielding 4% per year, while the second was $450 million of five-year notes at 4.5% per year.
The total amount generated exceeded the bank's initial estimate of $600 million. This reportedly marks Banco Votorantim's first debt issuance since 2017.
Banco do Brasil and JPMorgan are among the institutions that managed the offering, according to the report.
