UK-based IG Group sees YOY fall in FY'19 revenue

U.K.-based online trading platform IG Group Holdings PLC expects its revenue for the financial year ending May 31 to total £475 million, down from £569 million a year ago.

Revenue from the group's core markets of the U.K., EU, Australia, Singapore, Switzerland, Dubai and South Africa is expected to amount to around £415 million. For financial year 2022, the group is targeting an increase in revenue of about £100 million to £160 million.

The group also expects to post operating profit of £190 million for the year, down from £281 million a year ago, and operating expenses of £257 million, up from £254 million a year ago.

IG Group intends to maintain an annual dividend of 43.2 pence per share until it is in a position to resume a progressive dividend policy.
