Smirnov has 20 years of professional experience at various Russian companies.

* Bank Julius Bär & Co. AG has appointed Patrick Prinz as market head of Germany and Austria and Ettore Bonsignore as market head for Italy, effective Oct. 1.
Prinz formerly served as an executive at Pictet & Cie Group SCA unit Banque Pictet & Cie SA.
Prinz will be responsible for the bank's clients in Germany and Austria, with areas of responsibility that also include Bank Julius Bär Deutschland AG.
Bonsignore will be responsible for the bank's Italian clients. Bonsignore joins from PKB Privatbank SA in Lugano, where he served as a member of the executive board as head of the private banking division.

* Christian Rose is taking over the leadership of Bank Vontobel AG wealth management branch at Hamburg from Volker Schwarz.
Schwarz is handing over the responsibility at his own request in order to be able to focus entirely on serving Vontobel Wealth Management clients in the future.
Rose most recently headed M.M.Warburg & CO (AG & Co.) KGaA northern German wealth management team in Hamburg.
DWS Group GmbH & Co.
DWS Group GmbH & Co. KGaA named Peter McGloughlin head of U.K. and Ireland insurance, Reuters reported.
McGloughlin most recently served as the managing director at Eatonville Capital Partners.
