Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. appointed a new chief compliance officer.
The bank said Jan. 31 that it appointed Richard Funk III as chief compliance officer with the rank of first senior vice president. Funk replaces Rafael Reynante, who resigned to assume the role as chief legal counsel to a government financial institution.
Funk was formerly a compliance officer and head of the legal and recovery office of PNB General Insurers Co. Inc., as well as deputy director and group head of the compliance and investigation group of the Anti-Money Laundering Council Secretariat.
The bank also appointed Juan Tomas IV as customer service support segment head with the rank of senior vice president. Tomas' experience includes being the head of capital markets and custody for Citibank NA's operations group.
In addition, the lender named Cecilia Natividad group head of its marketing group, with the rank of senior vice president. Natividad has previously held the role of marketing head for the Philippines at Western Union Co.
Funk's and Tomas' appointments are effective Feb. 1, while Natividad's appointment is effective March 6.
