Responding to media speculation that Russian billionaire Oleg Deripaska is to step down as president from United Co. Rusal Plc and En+ Group plc, both companies said no such executive changes have been made or discussed yet.

In separate Feb. 20 press releases, the Russian industrial giants said possible executive changes will be considered in board meetings scheduled for Feb. 22.

Reports emerged in Kommersant on Feb. 19 of Deripaska's alleged departure from his position of president at Rusal and EN+. Citing anonymous sources, the article said that Deripaska will be succeeded as president at EN+ by Maxim Sokov, while at Rusal, he will be replaced by CFO Alexandra Bouriko.
