Warburg Pincus agrees to acquire Sundyne from BC Partners and Carlyle Group

Funds advised by private equity firm Warburg Pincus LLC agreed to acquire industrial pumps and compressors provider Sundyne LLC from funds advised by BC Partners Advisors LP and Carlyle Group LP.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The transaction is set to close in mid-2020, subject to regulatory approval.

Sundyne's management team, led by CEO Mark Sefcik, will continue under Warburg Pincus' ownership.

Sundyne was advised by Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and Latham & Watkins LLP, while Warburg Pincus was advised by Citi and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP.
