Goodman's US$1B Hong Kong warehouse project moves ahead despite recent unrest

Goodman Group is pressing ahead with its US$1-billion warehouse project in Hong Kong over the next seven months despite the ongoing political unrest in the city, CEO Greg Goodman told IPE Real Assets.

Two data-center operators have committed to long-term leases of the facility, which is still under construction, Goodman said.

He added that the company saw no disruption with its customers so far, and the city's shortage of warehouse spaces has not changed.
