Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, was ¥27.11 per share, a decline from ¥28.36 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥10.74 billion, a decline from ¥11.23 billion in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin declined to 3.0% from 3.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue fell year over year to ¥359.68 billion from ¥363.93 billion, and total operating expenses fell from the prior-year period to ¥343.03 billion from ¥346.84 billion.
Reported net income decreased year over year to ¥11.99 billion, or ¥30.28 per share, from ¥12.25 billion, or ¥30.95 per share.
As of Feb. 2, US$1 was equivalent to ¥117.28.
