Nan Nan Resources resumes Kaiyuan coal mine ops after permit renewal

Nan Nan Resources Enterprise Ltd. resumed operations at its Kaiyuan coal mine in China after renewing its mining permit, according to a Jan. 11 release.

The renewed permit is valid from Nov. 3, 2018, to Nov. 3, 2019.

Operations at Kaiyuan had been halted after Nan Nan Resources' mining permit expired Dec. 31, 2018. Authorities suspended the mine on Jan. 2, then allowed the company to restart on Jan. 9. Operations resumed on Jan. 10.

The company earlier said the suspension may negatively impact the company's financial performance for the year ending March 31, 2019.
