Huron Capital-backed Pueblo acquires HVAC company Commercial Air

Pueblo Mechanical & Controls, the heating, ventilation and air conditioning services platform of lower-middle-market private equity firm Huron Capital Partners LLC, bought Commercial Air Inc. for an undisclosed sum.

Based in Phoenix, Commercial Air provides air conditioning, refrigeration and heating systems and services to the commercial office, hospitality, education, transportation and other sectors. Commercial Air President Karl Thompson will stay on with the company.

Huron said it aims to expand in the commercial HVAC market in the U.S. Southwest through Pueblo, with plans to pursue further add-on acquisitions in Arizona and neighboring states.
