FTSE Russell on June 9 unveiled preliminary additions to and deletions from the Russell 3000 and Russell Microcap indexes.
For the Russell 3000 index, 53 financial services companies are set to be added, while six are set to be deleted, according to the preliminary list. For the Russell Microcap index, 23 financial services companies are slated to be added, while 23 are set for deletion.
The total market cap for the Russell 3000 index increased nearly 13% year over year to $27.2 trillion, according to a press release.
The newly reconstituted indexes will be updated June 16 and June 23, and will be effective June 23 after markets close.
