Verizon expands 5G Ultra Wideband service to Dallas, Omaha, Neb.

Verizon Communications Inc.'s 5G Ultra Wideband network is now available in areas of Dallas and Omaha, Neb.

Verizon customers in Dallas will have access to the network in parts of Knox/Henderson, Downtown Dallas, Uptown, Medical Center area, Deep Ellum and around landmarks including Parkland Memorial Hospital.

In Omaha, the network will be concentrated in parts of downtown Omaha around landmarks like Old Market, Omaha Children's Museum and the Orpheum Theater.

The U.S. carrier launched its 5G service in several cities including Chicago; Minneapolis-St. Paul; Denver; Providence, R.I.; Atlanta; Detroit; Indianapolis; Washington, D.C.; Phoenix; Boise, Idaho; Panama City, Fla.; and New York City.
