Ringer Hut Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended Feb. 28 was ¥26.39 per share, a gain of 11.5% from ¥23.68 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥580.0 million, an increase of 13.6% from ¥510.8 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 5.7% from 5.3% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 6.1% on an annual basis to ¥10.21 billion from ¥9.62 billion, and total operating expenses climbed 5.7% year over year to ¥9.28 billion from ¥8.78 billion.
Reported net income grew 47.5% year over year to ¥506.0 million, or ¥23.02 per share, from ¥343.0 million, or ¥15.90 per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥62.78 per share, a gain of 30.0% from ¥48.29 per share in the prior year.
Normalized net income was ¥1.38 billion, a rise of 30.8% from ¥1.06 billion in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue rose on an annual basis to ¥38.16 billion from ¥36.73 billion, and total operating expenses increased year over year to ¥35.91 billion from ¥34.95 billion.
The company said reported net income increased 35.8% year over year to ¥960.0 million, or ¥43.61 per share, in the full year, from ¥707.0 million, or ¥32.32 per share.
