Surge Copper Corp. received a new five-year exploration permit for its Ootsa copper-gold-silver project in British Columbia, with plans for an additional 150 drillholes, construction of access roads and further trenching and geophysical surveys.
The new permit also allows Surge Copper to maintain its 30-man exploration camp and core facility at Ootsa, according to a June 7 statement.
Surge Copper plans to drill at least 3,000 meters at Ootsa this summer to test prioritized targets around the East and West Seel deposits and to target extensions to mineralization, with surface exploration also planned at several targets.
