A $300 million joint venture between property investment firm DivcoWest Real Estate Services LLC and the California State Teachers' Retirement System will look to invest in core and core-plus commercial real estate assets in the United States.
The joint venture has earmarked cities in five states plus the District of Columbia for investment. In California, San Francisco, including the greater Bay Area; Los Angeles; and San Diego have been selected. Seattle; Boston; New York; and Austin, Texas, are among the other target markets.
