Argentine Banco Comafi to offer 18-month bonds

Banco Comafi SA said it is offering class 20 negotiable obligations of up to 200.0 million Argentine pesos, expandable up to 500.0 million pesos.

The bonds yield at a variable rate and mature in 18 months. They will be issued under the bank's $200 million global program for the issuance of simple, nonconvertible obligations.

The public auction will take place Dec. 4 while the notes will be issued and settled Dec. 6, the bank said.

Banco Santander Río SA and Banco Comafi Sociedad Anónima will act as organizers and placing agents. Comafi Bursátil will act as an additional placing agent.

As of Nov. 28, US$1 was equivalent to 17.33 Argentine pesos.
