Gaming Partners International Corp. said its normalized net income for the third quarter was 27 cents per share, a gain of 64.0% from 17 cents per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was $2.2 million, a gain of 64.1% from $1.3 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 9.8% from 6.8% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose 13.7% on an annual basis to $22.6 million from $19.8 million, and total operating expenses rose 7.0% from the prior-year period to $19.1 million from $17.8 million.
Reported net income rose 43.0% on an annual basis to $2.4 million, or 30 cents per share, from $1.7 million, or 21 cents per share.
