2 Midwest insurance brokers merge

St. Paul, Minn.-based North Risk Partners LLC merged with fellow insurance broker Bearence Management Group LLC of West Des Moines, Iowa, effective May 1.

Bearence has become a division of North Risk Partners, adopting the brand effective immediately.

The merged group will have $50 million in revenue, 265 employees and 21 locations across three states.

North Risk Partners CEO Chris Meidt will continue in the same role in the merged company, while Bearence managing partners Dan Seemuth and Stan Hamann have taken on division president roles.

Seemuth will take charge of the Des Moines, Iowa, and Omaha, Neb., locations while Hamann will oversee the Mendota Heights, Minn., location.
