China will open more sectors to investment, central bank chief says

On March 26, Zhou Xiaochuan, governor of the People's Bank of China, said the country was open to wider investments from foreign countries, as long as the country was "treated fairly," according to a Reuters report.

Among the sectors targeted for expansion are banking, insurance, investment banking and securities companies, according to the report, citing remarks at the Boao Forum for Asia.
